If you're unfamiliar with the term, graphic novels are a combination of sequential art and text. Graphic novels became popularized during the late 1980's / early 1990's comic book explosion (Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns is a prime example). Most are aimed at an adult readership, and therefore contain more complex characters and themes. Several noir influenced works have surfaced, such as Frank Miller's Sin City, David Lapham's Stray Bullets, Bob Hall's Armed and Dangerous, and Ed Brubaker and Michael Lark's Scene of the Crime. This month we're featuring some stories from both Don McGregor and Marshall Rogers both together and separately.
